Is anyone else having issues with tapping their physical card? Recently recieved a new card and only sometimes allows you to tap. You have to either insert the card or I end up using another card.
Yes. I’ve just accepted it, and use Apple Pay integration for tap.
Yeah my husband’s Neo card is exactly the same, have never understood why.
Yes I am in the identical situation… only over the last couple of weeks I have to insert everything. Was thinking it was the card but getting a new one is a pain
I am on my second replacement card and it’s not better. My partners card (Neo) taps in the places mine doesn’t I wonder if there is a problem with the cards themselves.

Just wanted to reassure you that the team is already aware of the issue. There’s currently a known problem affecting the tap functionality on some of our newer physical cards, which is why a few people have been running into the same issue recently.
Our team is actively working on a fix to get this resolved as soon as possible. In the meantime, the best workaround is to use Apple Pay or Google Pay for tap purchases so you don’t have to keep inserting your card every time.

Same situation, my previous card worked just fine. But the replacement card won’t tap
I use Apple Pay so I rarely tap my physical cards, but I have been giving it to my sister for certain things and she has been telling me about that issue. Thought it was strange but glad to see Neo is aware and working on it.
same fort me quite annoying to be honest .. your tryting to do the right thisg and not make the others behind wait so your prepared and you ta ponly to be decliened twice and have to insert and take longer than anyone else lol

Yeni – will there be a general announcement once the tap feature is corrected? Without this forum & knowing that this is a general issue I would expect many would just be requesting new cards and wasting recources.

Any update on this? Due to go abroad in a couple weeks would like the physical card to be working for this trip.

The fix is out! All you need to do:
- Complete a chip and pin transaction
That will update the card. It should work from then on out.
Hey Grant I have tried chip and pin twice now and then tapped a day later still not working but then when we test the same machine with my partners Neo card that works for contactless.
Would you recommend ordering a new card?

exactly the same for us. tap does not work on my partners card, but my card is fine.
guess we’ll get a new card now.
