Was excited to sign up for Neo to get 2% yearly interest. Unfortunately, I believe my phone number was already used by the last person that had it with Neo. I get harassed my debt collectors still even though I’ve had it for years.

i had this problem for a while. I had my account and was unable to open it due to a phone number discrepancy. Once I could match my phone number with my credit report, everything went smoothly.
How did you start that credit matching process? Sounds like that’s what OP needs to do.
