Only one everyday account per client for life

Allow people to reopen their accounts if the closed it within 30 days. Sometimes to avoid faud accounts need to be paused or locked (not just the card frozen) why dont we have that option. Its kinda like a one strike and you’re out. And only explanation you get is that Its “policy” not even the support agents know why ?

You’re definitely not the only one who’s asked about this, and I’m happy to let you know that re-opening Everyday accounts is a priority for us, with plans to roll it out early this summer.

I know this might not be the answer you were hoping for. That said, our high interest savings accounts offer many of the same features as an Everyday account, like direct deposits, making payments, and even earning more interest.
