I’ve never received scam calls pretending to be Neo, but this is an interesting feature that caught my attention:
17 January 2025: Revolut introduces In-App calls to help customers expose phone call scams
- In-App calls offer a secure method to speak with Revolut Customer Support, who can now call customers directly through the Revolut app, something that criminals can’t replicate

User perspective: it would be useful to have in-app calls to call Neo in addition to chat support to be able to reach support faster.
Currently, support is arguably the area with the most friction; friction comes from the fact that 1. wait time (chat agents do not respond immediately) and 2. input format (typing is a form of friction) 3. need to wait for human (issues can’t be resolved automatically) 4. need to use during a specific time window (no 24/7 support, as agents work 7 AM-8 PM MT)
With in-app calls, one can imagine a system where users call support and an AI agent resolves most issues automatically and right away, human support is freed up to provide support in complex cases that can’t be resolved by AI.
