Another useful feature to add would be an ability to chat with merchants in the Neo app.
Right now the app offers to call or visit merchant website outside of the Neo app. Instead of the current logic of driving users out of the app, the chat feature that is only available in the Neo app can be used to incentivize current users to interact in app, and to incentivize non-users to download the app and start using Neo.
This would add value to partners as well. It seems that most Canadian SMEs do not use instant messaging to talk to their customers. I am not entirely sure why Canadian SMEs donβt use WhatsApp/IG/FB messenger/Apple business chat, but there doesnβt seem to be any advantage to not having a way to communicate with customers. A chat inside the app would provide partners SMEs with this functionality that is exclusive to Neo users.
