What do you want to see from Neo in 2026?

  1. More investment options. I’ve heard on the call that I participated in about the GIC, however, market funds and stocks could also be an option.
  2. Cheque deposits. I have an account in another bank just because of this option.
  3. Installments. Today, depending on the website, we can use other companies, such as Klarna, for flexible payments, but it’d be great if we could have this option using the Neo credit card.

If Neo could be a sign on for my CRA account I would do 100% of my banking with Neo. As for now I only keep my current bank only for that ease of access.

Q quick turnaround times for refunds., it would be nice if neo was the leader of the pack in this area

@matthewwang is correct. The benefit of the FX built into a membership as opposed to a card, it that it works across all your Neo cards (including the money card). Giving you flexibility when you travel.

I would like to be able to cancel a credit card application. I don’t see that option. It just leaves it in progress under my other cards.

my reason for checking out a new card is to see whether it made sense to “upgrade” my old secured Neo credit card because it’s been approved for a larger increase and I expected to see better features on a traditional card.

I was surprised to find out my old secured Neo credit card (which still holds $500 security funds, on top of my new increased limit) has BETTER perks and features than my newer cards and better than switching it for a traditional card!!

Now that I don’t want to upgrade or switch my credit card type from secured in fear of losing better rewards and perks, it won’t let me cancel the card application. (This low-key bothers me when I open the app and continue to see it under my other cards.)

The original Build Tiers were wayyy better and attainable than the 10,000 minimum now.

It should be a perk for long term members to have the option to have the old tier system back within a membership package.

When these sorts of things get taken away and it’s harder to reach it begins to feel like big bank tactics. Losing that feature made me feel disconnected with NEO.

I believe the minimum for Build is $5,000, but yes, I agree, it should be much easier to get Build.

This has happened to me too. Usually the in progress application cancels itself after 30 days, then you can choose to apply for another card if you want or simply don’t.

Yes sorry. 5,000 min and 10,000 max.

When before it was 1,000 and incrementally increased and was much more attainable for people like me who don’t have even 5,000 to sit in my account.

Thanks so much for flagging this — really helpful feedback, and I want to make sure we get you on the right card. That is the whole reason for our new reward buckets.

On the application: I hear you on wanting a clear way to cancel one in progress, and I’m passing that along to the team.

What stood out to me is that you’ve found your current card has better perks than your newer ones, and that’s making you hesitant to upgrade. I’d love to help you sort out the best fit for how you actually spend, so you’re not giving anything up.

Could you elaborate a bit on which rewards or perks the upgrade is missing that you’re looking for? For example — are these specific cashback categories, a rewards rate, or particular card features? Once I know what matters most to you, I can dig in and help you land on the card that matches your spend patterns.

More merchants to support Neo’s first purchase rewards

I would like to see the value proposition for the Grow account be better. The only thing of value to me at the moment is no FX fee. Maybe I’m missing something here, but anyone else see the value proposition?

I would like to see cash deposits accepted in 2026. This would be awesome to have. If it costs money to accept cash deposits at the ATM, then at least allow it for people with Grow accounts.

What’s the problem at the moment?

I guess multi currency account support and travel CC will be great to see.

The problem is that cash deposits at ATMs are usually only supported at banks own ATMs as the Mastercard network does not support processing cash deposits. I do think the ability to deposit cash at Canada Post like Wealthsimple or KOHO has is a good idea though.

Exactly. The leading option for cash deposits right now is Canada Post. It is currently following Cheque Deposits on the roadmap, launch date TBD.

I would love to see savings account in other currencies, the CND dollar is low right now, but if it happened to gain some strength I’d love to put some euros or USD away for trips. Having that money spendable and not risk a loss transferring it would be key.

I noticed that, I had to finish it to make it go away lol.

I would love to see a Neo Line of credit to help with debt consolidation.

I’d like to see NEO atm, maybe at your partner locations.
