Stay safe in the community — a quick note on phishing

Our forums are growing fast and it’s possible that fraudsters will try to use this space to steal your information. We want everyone to stay on guard and not get phished.

Key points:

Go slow: Phishing works when you rush — clicking a link, replying with details, or trusting a message before you’ve thought it through. Take a breath before you click or write anything.

Do not post personal information publicly: No emails, phone numbers, account numbers, SIN, passwords, one-time codes, or other sensitive information.

How we handle support in the community: We try to solve problems as publicly as possible so others can benefit from the answers. Sometimes we need to move to DMs to protect your privacy, but that’s not our preference.

How to spot Neo staff: Real employees have “Neo” in their title, as well as the Neo flair on their profile. We do NOT use the Neo logo as our profile photo.

Need help? Open a support ticket first. In the community, we may ask for your ticket number — that’s the least private detail we can use to find your case. We can already see the email you used to sign up here; if that matches your Neo account, we’ll confirm it’s correct and ask your permission to look up your account. We won’t ask you to type your email again in a thread.

Links: Don’t click links that look off — shortened URLs, urgent “verify your account” messages, or requests for login details. When in doubt, contact support directly by phone (the number is on your card) or via the chatbot.

Community support: Yeni (@Yeni_NeoYeni_Neo) is your primary contact for support-related questions in the community.

If something feels wrong, stop, don’t share more, and report it to me immediately.

This is extremely helpful. Thanks for sharing.
