⚠️ Phishing Alert: Fake Neo Support Emails — Nov. 21, 2025

Hey everyone,

We’ve heard reports that bad actors are targeting Neo users with phishing emails, taking advantage of the Cloudflare outage on November 18, 2025 to imitate our support messages.

These emails might look convincing — some even use Neo’s colours or logos — but they’re designed to steal your personal info or login credentials.

Below are a few screenshots to help you spot the scam. It’s not perfect, but it’s sophisticated enough to trick people who are moving fast.

Check Every Time

Before clicking anything in an email claiming to be from Neo, check these quick tips:

  1. Check the sender’s email address

    • Legitimate messages only come from @neofinancial.com

    • Watch out for lookalikes such as @neo-support.com, or @gmail.com.

  2. Watch for urgency

    • Scammers often say things like “Your account will be frozen in 2 hours!”

    • Take a breath — Neo will never pressure you with immediate deadlines or threats.

  3. Check the links

    • Hover over any button or link before clicking.

    • Our official domains always end in @neofinancial.com — if you see anything else, don’t click.

  4. Never share your credentials

    • We’ll never ask for your password, PIN, or full card number by email, text, or phone.
  5. When in doubt, go direct

    • Open the Neo app or visit the website manually (don’t use links in the email).

    • You can always message our support team through the app to verify any communication.

If you’ve received a suspicious message, don’t click any links. Please let us know, either by contacting support or posting here so our team can investigate and block future attempts.

Thanks for staying alert and helping keep our community safe.
