Can I sign up without a Canadian phone number? I have an American one because I am using an American family telephone plan. I am a Canadian, with a Canadian address and a Canadian credit account with CIBC.
Unfortunately, Neo rejects US based phone numbers, so you won’t be able to sign up without a Canadian one.

To sign up for Neo, you need a working email and a Canadian phone number. This fits with the fact that Neo relies on Twilio for text verification, which generally expects a number able to reliably receive Canadian carrier messages — a US number may technically go through, but it’s not really what the system is built for. On top of that, being a Canadian resident with a Canadian address is already one of their listed eligibility criteria.
