Please add feature to sync with Monarch Money!

It uses three data providers, Plaid, Finicity, and MX. I have not checked if it exports/imports via CSV…

Hi @rstarno - I looked into how CSV import/export works with Monarch Money and found a couple of helpful articles:

  • This one explains how to manually import transactions using a CSV file.
  • And this one walks through how to export your account balances or transaction history.

From what I can tell, you should be able to both import and export data using CSV files with Monarch Money.

I also just wanted to add my response to your other post here as well just in case:

Adding the ability to sync with Monarch Money isn’t currently on our radar, but it sparked great discussion when I brought it to the team’s attention.

thank you, i did figure out how to export CSV, that is helpful. but if you guys can do the synching that saves a lot of time on our end, as you have to format the csv every time before upload.

Might be able to build an AI automation to reformat the data for you to speed it up.

I wish, I’m not familiar with Monarch and your format needs so it would require a deeper dive for me to help on that and probably access to your account.

But I think you could prompt ChatGPT on some options based on you knowing the reformat needs and then automate it for each time

Any update on when Monarch Money sync will be supported? I’m a new user and all credit cards are supported in Monarch except this one. Without this feature, I might cancel my card. This is critical for me and I don’t want to do it manually.

Hi there, I also have the same feature request to sync with Monarch money. Every other financial institution is providing this crucial feature for 360 degree financial data view. Can you please provide a roadmap when we can expect this feature to work?
