@PGA @bt95 what are your thoughts on the rewards program? What has been your experience so far with it?

It has been good!

I only signed up for the base cash back rate and wasnt expecting too many partner rewards because I live in the North, but I have been pleasantly surprised with PublicMobile and the food options!

I love the cash back program. I make good use of shopping/ restaurants where I get extra bonuses. I also switched to Public Mobile for 2 cell phones as the cost of the plans were significantly cheaper. I was a little apprehensive to switch from a major provider but it was easy and flawless. I have zero complaints and I like that I am earning extra cash back.

I do have a current problem though. I stopped getting cashback on groceries starting October 24th. This is also my statement date so I thought it would reset to the $500 limit. It would be interesting to be able to inquire where you are at in terms of the cap limits at any point in time during the month. I am not sure if the limit is associated with my billing cycle or if it is based on a calendar month. If it is calendar then I will expect to start earning again November 1.

Hey @PGA - good question! The rewards cycle is by calendar month, so you start earning again on Nov. 1st.

I enjoy the cash back rewards program. The perks are amazing. Now I have been a Neo customer almost a year now. I been using a multiple of services. My only issue I ever had is the tenant insurance. In Canada the insurance provider should be in Canada. I never had to use insurance for tenancy in my life. Until this July. Movers started my home on fire. The insurance company never fought for me. When I reached the max benefits for accomodations that was it I’m homeless and houseless. I just got out of the lease still paid rent for contractors utilities and storage fees plus separate accommodations had to rehome my animals except a service dog and I have nothing to show for it but a very well learned lesson in Group Insurance.

I have cashback from Neo. My problem is how to use a portion of it. Can someone help me with this?

Hey @HMRae I can help you. I will send you DM now!

Whoa :open_mouth: this is news to me as a new comer to NEO. they cap? Why?

Hi @EllaBella ,

Great question! Category spend caps are a standard practice across cashback programs. They help us keep the program sustainable while ensuring we can continue offering competitive rewards to all our customers. Caps also play a role in preventing potential misuse and ensuring fairness across the board.

If you’d like to dive deeper into how our cashback program works or get more details on caps, feel free to check out this article in our Help Center: How Neo’s cashback works.

Hey Craig and thanks for answering my question :raising_hand_woman:t4:I’m still fairly new to NEO and trying to learn as much as I can.

My pleasure! Happy to help however I can so keep the questions coming!

I do love the neo store option as well as the cashback and other options, it’s great since I grabbed one of the duffle bags, and it’s been awesome! Plus it was free through the rewards that I got! Other than that, the partners for me aren’t too good, the only real one I use on any sort of consistent basis would be shell, but it’s nice to know for some foods options that they do have some nice cashback

That’s awesome to hear you grabbed a duffle bag through rewards!! I agree, Shell is a solid choice. Have you checked out any dining partners yet?

I don’t often eat out, and the times I do, it’s usually with friends, so haven’t gotten to try out the dining partners yet

@Craig-Neo question :raising_hand_woman:t4: do I need to cash out my rewards cash by a specific time or can I allow it to accumulate over time?

Hi @EllaBella, thanks for the question! You do not need to cash out your rewards cash by a specific time, you can accumulate as you see fit!

@Craig-Neo that’s awesome! Thanks for replying and letting me know
