Is there a limit to the cashback? – I am suppose to be getting 2% on everything. But that does not appear to be the case. Has anyone recieved this note ? You will find it as an astrik when you check your reward amount. A major reason why I use Neo is simplicity - I don’t want to overthink this as I have other more important things to focus on.

Hi, there is a limit. It depends on your membership and rewards levels but it’s in the fine print somewhere. I know I often go over since I have a family of 6!
If you’re getting 2% on everything, I assume you’re on the 2% Everywhere World Elite? There is a $4,000 cap on that.
Thanks Grant ! – I called the help desk and the monthly limit is $3300 for everything else. Something like $1500 dollars for gas (Not sure the total gas amount). Just a thought that this is important info that whould be included somewhere on the web site. Your help desk was very helpful.
Are you on the 2% card though? I don’t think CX is trained up on that limit yet, the card isn’t even in production. And IIRC the monthly limit for Everything Else only really mattered when we had the Premium perk because it boosted that category, but I am pretty sure there’s just a 0.5% floor for World cards and 1% floor for World Elite cards now.
Sorry to differ – Yes I am at the 2% level – back in December 2025 when the Hudson Bay card wound down I had to transition to the new World Elite card… I still had $470 odd remaining dollars of Bay credit but that was now lost (But the old card is still on my profile and it has not been deleted because (I think because of the remaining reward amount) . I was given one of three options as to what reward that I wanted that I had to select by early December 2025. The process seemed a little strange but I selected the 2% on everything the other two reward options were an additional boost on existing rewards already in place. For Jan, Feb, Mar, April and the beginning of May I received 2% but just recently it stopped as my purchases went up.
When I spoke with Jamie during the initial Neo call-up conference call I began to realize that there were not many in my situation. – and I mentioned that I was very confused as to what the reward programs were and what the Neo card was. Jamie was very good but I quickly realized that some type of mistake/exception was made for me. I keep a fair amount of money in my Neo Money and Neo Savings and just assumed that was maybe the reason. I did mention in the virtual meeting that I was confused as to what the Neo Its value proposition as everything that I experienced was not reflected on your web site. For example : I received 2% on everything but could not purchase insurance (Car/house whatever) with my card & the 2% was not mentioned in the overall program options. I had spoken to your Promotional reps in the West Edmonton mall the first week of December and they were not that helpful. I even called your help number to get some type of clarification / direction to better understand what program I am under. Even the Neo help desk person that I called just last week said that there was a limit of $3300 on “everything” and that my rewards would go back to 2% in the new month which was a total surprise to me.
The card reward I selected was “2% on everything” so when there is now a limit on what that is – I am a little confused.
When I was selected to join the Neo Insiders group I thought that maybe it would make a little more sense - nope.

Richard. my friend. I just took a look at your card and you’re currently set up on the Everyday Essentials rewards scheme. This happened on April 18 and I can’t really see why.
