Can you not cancel it in the app? Cancel an Interac e-Transfer® | Neo Financial Help Centre

If you cannot cancel it (I have been in this position) the money will revert after 30 days of inaction - returning the money.

Did the sender have auto-deposit enabled? This has happened to me before and unfortunately if auto-deposit is enabled you are able to cancel it on your end. You’ll have to call support and the are able to cancel it if the money hasn’t gone into the recipients account. What likely happened is it was flagged (typically when it’s larger, irregular amounts) and it’s sitting in limbo with Neo.
