Hudson's Bay CC Sign-Up Workflow

Hey all! Question - how does the Hudson’s Bay Credit Card sign-up workflow work if you are already a Neo customer - the only option I see is to create a new account with Neo. Thanks!

I had no idea the Hudson’s Bay credit card still existed.

Hey @tkato When you are logged in, it still prompts you to create a new account?

Couple of questions for you first,

Can you share a screenshot in this thread of what pops up when you click into it?

What device are you looking at this on and what version of android or IOS are you running on it?

What version of the Nep app do you have/is your app fully up to date?

Hi Denisa! Thanks for helping with this. There seems to 3 different problems at play here:

  1. Problem #1: Hudson’s Bay Rewards App - authentication problem. I wasn’t able to get the Hudson’s Bay mobile app to work. Not Neo’s fault! I could pursue that separately, there seems to be an issue on the Hudson’s Bay end based on the error I received.
  2. Problem #2: Neo App - inability to apply for the card. When I tried using a mobile web browser, I got the attached screen after clicking the “Apply Now” button for Hudson’s Bay Mastercard link, there was actually no mention of Neo anywhere. Then when I try the “Apply now ->” button at the top of this screen, I get redirected to the Neo app on iOS and get an in-app screen (attached). Within the Neo app, there is no option to apply for the Hudson’s Bay Mastercard as suggested.

  3. Problem #3: Web browser - no option to sign into an existing Neo account. Similar flow to a mobile browser except instead of being redirected to the app I get a screen on the Neo website starting the workflow to create a new account with Neo. Knowing that I have an existing account with Neo, I don’t want to create a duplicate identity and got stuck there. Screenshots attached from that too.
