Don’t Get "Red Carded" by Scammers

With the World Cup landing in Canada soon, the hype is real, but so are the fake tickets. Since we’re in the Last-Minute Sales Phase, fraudsters are working overtime.

Your 60-second game plan to stay safe:

  • Stick to the Source: Only use FIFA.com/tickets. If a deal on social media looks too good to be true, it’s a trap.
  • Skip the Screenshots: Entry is mobile-only via the official app. Anyone offering a PDF or a photo of a ticket is selling a fake that won’t get you past the gates at BMO Field or BC Place.
  • Pay Protected: Use your Neo Card. Unlike e-transfers, credit card payments give you a security layer to dispute charges if things go south.

Quick Action: Bookmark the official FIFA Resale Marketplace now, it’s the only verified way to snag secondary seats safely.

Have you spotted any sketchy ticket ads in your feed lately? :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Does anyone know if sites like stubhub and other resellers are legit or does it all need to go through the official Fifa site? Considering getting some outrageously priced tickets for my dads retirement.

@Mattbrennan, I’d recommend sticking with the official FIFA ticketing site, as it’s the only place we can guarantee ticket validity and entry. Resale platforms may be legitimate marketplaces, but they don’t offer the same guarantees around ticket authenticity or transfer eligibility.
