We know that no two lifestyles are the same, so we decided your credit card shouldn’t be either. We’ve reimagined the Neo World and Neo World Elite experience by putting the power of choice in your hands. You’re no longer locked into a default rewards structure; instead, you define how you earn.
Whether you’re maximizing gas and groceries, dining out, or earning flat cashback, you select your scheme during your application and track it under the Rewards tab.
One thing to note: you can’t hold two cards of the same tier with different schemes. For example, if you have a World Elite card, you can’t open a second one for another rewards plan. However, you can still apply for a Neo World card to mix and match.
If you were picking today, which category would earn you the most cashback?
Groceries for sure, and the second would be recurring transaction; which hopefully in the future will be more rewarding and have more transactions count.
We use our Neo world Elite for almost everything.
It not only provides additional warranty on products & insurance for rental cars. We have received over $6000 in cash back bonuses.
We’ve had dozens of other rewards cards over the years and rarely have we benefited. We often go to the Neo app to see who has offers before we shop, especially on fuel & dining.
Welcome to the community @KellyM That is incredible! $6,000 in cashback is a serious win! You are clearly mastering the art of maximizing those partner offers. Have you noticed a specific partner or category that’s been your biggest earner lately?
On interesting! Can you switch your scheme whenever you want? If we have an existing card, will it prompt users to select a scheme since it wasn’t done so during the application?
I loved the idea. Absolutely thrilled. Went on the app and saw I’m “pre approved” for all kinds of cards with different perks.
there is no mention of me not being able to hold two world elite cards with different reward schemes and I just found out about this limitation on this thread. To me, if that’s the case I shouldn’t even be allowed to apply for it to begin with.
The application got declined and this was not mentioned as a reason. I just got some explanation about how if I had a VPN on then it may lead to a decline because it may seem like I’m not in Canada.
why is it not possible to just switch rewards on the same card?
Lastly, why don’t we just go crazy and offer a card with 300$ annual fee that combines the two sets of incentives? Seems like an opportunity left on the table.
