Good afternoon! I know this sounds dumb, but even though I just made my account yesterday, I’m thinking of closing it. I made it rather impulsively and in a moment of frustration, but I realize now that I don’t need it.
I just closed my chequing account, so now I’m hoping someone can close my actual, like profile. Seeing as I don’t need Neo anymore, I’d rather just not have the account be up for someone to log into and mess around with or whatever.

First off, this does not sound dumb at all! Wanting financial independence is an awesome goal, and you should be proud of taking initiative. However, did you already try reaching out to the support team yet?

I was just chatting with the AI assistant, which is how I found out how to close my chequing account.
No worries, you can reach out to them via the in-app chat or by calling 1-855-636-2265.
Sorry, but are you able to help me here? I’m not able to talk on the phone at the moment, and when I open the in app chat I can only text the AI assistant.
nvm I figured that out lol, but in other news:
So, I guess all I can really do now is delete the app, seeing as there’s no way to render my profile inactive/inaccessible? And also, yesterday, I requested a physical Mastercard that was supposed to be delivered between July 21st and August 1st (if I remember correctly). Seeing as there’s no chequing account, I hope it’s been cancelled.
Great, thanks for letting me know. If the card has already been sent out, there’s no way to cancel it. It’ll delivered to you, then you can destroy it.
