I signed up for a Neo savings account and proceeded to move some money from another account at a different back to Neo. A day later my account was locked by Neo and I received an email asking for a statement from my other bank account.
This feels like serious invasion of privacy on top of preventing my access to my money. I replied to the email asking for some justification for what they’ve done and not seen any reply after several days. I tried calling but couldn’t get though to whichever team had locked me out. How do I get this resolved?
Hi @etrounce , thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community! I’m really sorry to hear it’s been tough to get clear answers so far.
To help explain things a bit: our team sometimes asks for additional documents because we periodically review accounts to stay compliant with banking and regulatory requirements. If anything in the review needs clarification, we request documents so the team can verify the activity and make sure everything checks out.
Once they’ve reviewed what you’ve submitted, they’ll follow up with any next steps. Nothing to worry about, it’s just part of our compliance process.
If you have any other questions, I’m more than happy to help clarify!
