Just realized today that YouTube Premium is no longer giving cash back as a recurring subscriptions, which is odd since it used to before. Checking into it real quick, seems that it started happening after the new changes with merchant categories. Was just wondering if that is intentional or not? I have attached a picture of the transaction (which yes is done via card direct and not through PayPal for example)
Hi @Geouky - something seems off on this one. Can you DM me the email account attached to your Neo account and I’ll have a quick look into this for you ![]()
Hello I have the same issue. Can you help as well. My last payment was in June.
For those following - unfortunately, Youtube is inconsistent with their billing, and some TXNs are coming in as MCC (7841) which is mapped to movies (I have my own hypothesis that it’s on family subscription bills, but perhaps not).
Naturally, our system does not count Movies as recurring, so that is why this some of these are not coming through as expected.
I’ll update you on what happens after I resubscribe again through my laptop after the end of the billing cycle. I believe it’s either related to the subscription type which in my case would be a family subscription or to the device used to subscribe to said service. If after using my laptop, the MCC code remains the same then it is most definitely related to it being a family subscription
