Missing recurring cashback can be frustrating, and we know it’s been a pain point for many of you.
Right now, cashback eligibility depends on how the merchant codes the transaction (via Mastercard). So even if a payment repeats, it may not qualify if it’s not tagged as “recurring.”
We know this isn’t always clear, and we’re actively working on making the recurring cashback experience more consistent and transparent.

I actually just noticed I’ve no gotten my cashback bonus from Disney+ even though it’s has been counting my payments, I tried to report the issue and the app says it wasn’t eligible?
My cashback amounts have seriously changed and im not sure why. Its very upsetting. I havent been getting any cashback for my groceries, and a few other things. Any reason that its changed?
I can appreciate what you’re saying but for the world elite card there is quite the fee that goes with this. It’s quite frustrating to say the least. As an insider, I appreciate some of the great reward perks Neo offers but hate these types of issues. It’s almost like a fine print type of discrepancy making a recurring payment a non recurring payment.
When you do the math to figure out if paying for an annual card fee is worthwhile, this is a great variable in that process. Putting the blame on the vendor just basically means until you sign up and pay, it’s anyone’s guess to what cashback you will actually get.
The back and forth every month is an absolute pain. I have a recurring payment monthly that when it actually is corrected as you do monthly, the yearly reward for that one recurring payment pays for the card fee. Without it, I’m still owing money to use this card.
Issues like this need to be sorted for good. It’s not a nice to have, it’s a must.
What is the change? What card are you on? What is your boost level? Have you clicked on one of the transactions? There are a bunch of factors involved in cashback.
Like Yeni mentioned, Neo relies on the codes, same as a bank would. Neo makes cashback SUPER transparent, so people see when it misses and get upset. No one else really does that.
I tend to agree, stuff gets mis-categorized for me all the time. Sadly, I have so many recurring expenses I still usually cap out anyway, but it does feel like a broken feature, even if it is the industry standard.
