You can now upgrade your Neo card for a Neo World or Neo World Elite card without the hassle of a hard credit check. That means you can unlock elevated rewards while keeping your credit score intact!
Here’s what makes upgrading so easy:
No Hard Credit Check: Upgrade without affecting your credit score.
Seamless Experience: Swap according to your personal preferences, without having to go through a lengthy application process, all within the Neo app!
No Changes to Your Account Details: Your APR, credit limit, current balance, and statement date stay exactly the same.
If you’ve had a Neo Mastercard open for longer than 2 months and the most recent version of the app, check to see if you’re eligible! Individual card eligilibilty requirements will still apply.

Great feature! Already upgraded my card! Thanks to Canada Post though, have not got the physical card yet.
Question: will this keep the duration of the credit hold? My old card is more than 4 years, after upgrading I realized and hopefully nothing will change to the credit bureau and everything will keep the same.
Hey Andrew! Great question. Upgrading does not impact account history, meaning that if your old card was 4 years old, this card will continue on that same credit file with the same history! It does not restart. Really great question!
Hey @Jmrwibutso if you are eligible to swap, the option will appear on the bottom of the home page(the “all” tab) on the Neo app. Once you open the app, scroll down and you should see something like this:
@Denisa.Neo I have some issues with this thing. Some of my friends who have a lower socre than me or even lower income got approved for the swap but when I tried, I was denied even though i have a higher limit and a better score and more income. I would like some assistance on this please! i also noticed that is unfair to us old customers who have been so loyal to neo over the last few years and decided to stay with it even though there are some cards out that may fit our lifestyle better
Does the Neo World Elite CC have all of the same cash back categories and amounts + more than my original Neo secured CC? Just curious as you would think that the highest tier CC would include everything that the basic CC’s have plus more.
