Sharing observations on the design of cards:
• The current design of the credit card and the money card is identical except for 1. the colour of the Neo logo and 2. the “money account” text on the money card.
• Lack of clear visual differentiation between the products can create confusion for users.
• “money account” font size used for the money card is too small to be readable. It is hard to explain why the font is so microscopically small given how much empty space is there.
• Credit card has a gold colour logo and the money card has a black one. Unlike widely understood “green” for “go” and “red” for “stop” at street lights, “black” for “money card” and “gold” for “credit card” do not have the same associations. You can test this by asking users if they can tell what colour is the logo on their card, or which colour is which card. These are not intuitive associations for most people – designers could have chosen colours in a more deliberate way that would convey meaning that is easy to interpret, or better yet, avoid using colours to differentiate cards altogether.
• The card with the “money account” text is called Neo Money card. Is it a money account or a money card? More consistency in naming would be helpful.
• “Credit card” is intuitively understandable, but “money card” or money account is not (is credit not money?) Deviating from standard industry terms like debit card can also create confusion.
• There seems to be no option to rename cards or switch skins to something personalized to make it easier for users to differentiate between the cards.
