I’ve seen banks like monobank offering users the ability to choose the image for their cards to appear in the app and in the Apple/Google wallet (click to view video walkthrough).
This involves a set of images users can choose from to make the experience more personal and fun. Banks can offer new designs when launching new marketing campaigns, do seasonal custom skins for special holidays or occasions, and use design to help users build a better connection with the brand.
In Canada, ATB lets users choose the design of a physical card from a set of given designs and put a company logo on a card for a one-time fee of $400, but I suspect this refers to physical card design.
I don’t think I’ve seen any Canadian bank letting users choose card designs in the app ![]()
Given Neo’s approach to design it could be a cool feature to have.
