Making transactions searchable

  1. There seems to be no easy way to search for transactions. Currently, users have to scroll through the list of transactions hoping that they can find what they are looking for, but there is no way to search for specific vendors, senders, recipients, amounts, or transaction categories.

  2. It would be helpful to have the ability to search for transactions, e.g. using a search bar on top of the list. It would also be helpful to have a filter to search for transactions within a specified date range, and to filter them by amount, transaction category and other parameters.

  3. Right now users have to choose a card first, then scroll through a list of transactions. If the transaction they are looking for is not there, users have to go back, go into a different card and scroll through the second list of transactions. An alternative way would be to have all transactions in one place, with the ability to split them by card type if needed. Having a view button with different ways to arrange this can add flexibility.

  4. It would be also helpful to link accounts and import transactions from other institutions to allow users to find transactions in one app and use budgeting tools where all expenses and income is tracked and categorized automatically.
