I just signed up for a joint money account with my partner and the plan is to use this account to pay for shared bills. He banks with another institution and it seems like you cannot set up etransfer with cash accounts? Although there is the ability for “Auto-Save”, it notes that transferes can take 3-5 business days compared to etransfer speeds of 30 minutes. Is there a timeline for etransfers (specifically auto-deposit) to be added to cash accounts?

Hi @YEGDaniel, thanks for posting about this! Right now there’s not a timeline as to when or if you can expect Interac e-Transfers to available for the Neo Savings account. But I’ll keep an ear open for any talks about it and check back here if I get any info about it. Not sure how it would look if you have multiple accounts in terms of how you would deposit into a specific one. Any ideas for that?
Also I know it’s less than a perfect solution, but if you both have a Neo Everyday account in your own profiles, you can use e-Transfer to deposit there, and then immediately move the funds to the shared Savings account.
