Hi, I’m using the World MC now for almost 3 months without an issue.
I would like to upgrade to the World Elite MC but the option won’t show up in my app.
What am I missing?

Right now, there isn’t an upgrade path from the Neo World to the World Elite, but I completely agree it would be super helpful for people in your situation. I’ll definitely bring that feedback to the team.
At the moment, the only option is to apply for the Neo World Elite MC directly. I know that’s not the ideal flow, but I’ll make sure your feedback is heard. Let me know if you have any other questions, I’d be happy to help!
Will it be another hard credit check?
Short answer is yes, the application process includes a credit check. I wish there was a way around this, especially for people like you who did another check very recently.
Have you confirmed you meet the other requirements? Specifically income ($80k personal or $150k household), which is a hard requirement. It would be a shame to make the whole application and be rejected on that point.
I was actually going to make a post about this. As a user of both the WE and the World CC, it would be really nice if I can swap my World CC for the World Elite and own two of them so I can swap between them when a monthly cap is reached on one of the cards. To be honest my World card is kinda obsolete right now, but I still keep it open because it’s credit history is longer than my WE and for the just in case scenarios.
