We know how frustrating it is to see extra fees on your statement just for using your card abroad. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that as of May 1st, we’ve officially added a 100% FX Fee Rebate to our Grow membership!
Whether you’re heading across the border or shopping your favorite international brands online, you’ll now get those foreign transaction fees pushed right back to your account. Best of all? This isn’t just for Neo-branded cards, it now covers our co-branded United® MileagePlus® and Cathay cards too!
For credit card holders, these rebates are instant. For Neo Money™ users, you’ll see them as a monthly lump sum. It’s all part of our goal to make your Grow membership even more rewarding.
Where is the first place you’re planning to head this summer to put your new “No-FX” status to the test?
This update is the most exciting and anticipated for me, because FX piece has always been a concern for me, as I am traveling and spending money abroad quite often. Especially nice to have it after using Revolut for years.
This is exciting news! I have two Neo credit cards and I like both in many different ways.
I just wanted to ask you if as a Neo insider we automatically get grow membership included. For some reason, I remember seeing an email that it mentioned that it was a perk included for us. Can you please confirm? I don’t see it on my end.
To my understanding, it does not. Refunding something in a foreign currency is pretty rare, to be honest, since we don’t support business banking. Most personal travel just involves food, gifts, and transportation.
Right. So when I buy stuff in China, I usually use CAINIAO (by Ali Group, same company that runs TaoBao, AliExpress and Alibaba.com) to repackage and reship my items. The thing is, they charge the full maximum possible amount first, then they refund the adjustment after the size gets smaller.
