Groceries as that’s where you get the most value; whereas, recurring payments are hit or miss, and I drive mostly in EV mode, so don’t need to fuel up a lot.
For me it’s gas, I drive a lot so I spend a good amount on fuel.
@Stel Groceries definitely offer the most consistent ‘bang for your buck,’ especially with how prices have been lately! Since you’ve already optimized your gas and recurring costs down to almost nothing, what do you usually do with that extra cashback? Does it go straight into a savings goal, or do you use it as a ‘treat yourself’ fund?
Out of curiosity, how much gas do you burn monthly? I’m trying to figure out if the gas cap is unnecessarily high.

I’m probably a bad person to ask, as I can 3-4 months without gassing my car. But maybe $40 for the month I do gas my car.
Around 1300$ I’m in Toronto and pay 91 as opposed to regular.
