Travel Perk discontinued, need insurance clarification

Almost all policies except standard purchase insurance have this clause:

MPORTANT Coverage under this certificate only applies to: 1. a Neo Mastercard, a Neo World Mastercard or a Neo MoneyTM card with a subscription to the Travel Perk; or 2. a Neo World Elite® Mastercard, a United® MileagePlus® Neo World Elite® Mastercard or a Cathay World Elite® Mastercard - Powered by Neo (each, a “Card”) at the time of the reservation of the Rental Car, through to and including when the claim occurs. The full cost of the Rental Car must be paid with the Card.

So does this mean it’s not possible for those cards to receive those benefits, or is it rolled up in a membership tier?

I wonder if they just need to rewrite this. Unless, before they discounted, gave a select few that were enrolled a grace period since they booked a vacation while being enrolled? :woman_shrugging:t4: No clue :laughing:

For those with a Travel Perks subscription, the perks are still valid until May 31, 2026. After that the insurance will be valid on World Elite products. With other travel perks, like the FX rebate, rolling into the Grow membership.

Any plans to also roll travel insurances into membership or boost programs as benefits?

Not currently. Cool idea though, if you think it’s worth investing in, please continue to champion it!
