I broke up with Intuit this year and used BetterTax.ca. Was very happy with the simplicity for both my personal and business income. CRA certified and data stored in Canada.

Do you mind sharing the price of that one? I’ve got a small (micro) business and Intuit is just far too expensive.

Probably the best part, it’s pay what you can. You don’t have to pay anything if you don’t want to.

Get out! Thank you so much fellow Insider! That info is much appreciated.

Wealthsimple Tax for personal. Curious if there is something as user friendly for simple business taxes as well.

Do you mind me asking, were you able to bring forward your prior year returns from Inuit?

I use tax consultants, I need to learn how to do it though.

I didn’t need to, actually. BetterTax retrieved all of the prior year data it needed directly from the CRA (you go through a short authentication process with CRA to authorize this).
