From Receipts to Refunds đź’¸

New month, new goals! We’re officially “marching” into tax season. Let’s be real: filing is a chore, but future-you will thank you when that refund drops early.

3-step game plan:

  • Folder up: “Taxes 2025” on your desktop or cloud.
  • Doc check: Gather T-slips, receipts, and CRA info.
  • Track deductibles: Home office, transit, or other work expenses — start logging now.

Think of it as financial spring cleaning: a little effort now = less chaos later.

Are you team digital folders or team shoebox of receipts for taxes? Leave your comments below! :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Team digital for life! :victory_hand:

Digital keeps me more organized.

Team shoebox, but its time to take more care and attention to these!

Team Digital, been using Wealthsimple Tax, and it’s super easy.

Shoebox, I’ll eventually make the switch to digital.

I file my taxes digitally but keep both digital and hard copies. Totally redundant but satisfies my brain. :joy:

Filing digitally but keeping both digital and hard copies just gives that extra peace of mind. The CRA recommends keeping your tax docs for at least a few years in case they ever ask to see something.

We’re over here waving at you from the digital side :waving_hand:… we’ll save you a spot when you’re ready! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It’s definitely reassuring. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Team digital, been using Wealthsimple tax to file .

I do the same thing!
