Neo Date Indicator for CC Limit Increase | Optional Time frame recommendation for Increass

Date Indicator for CC Limit Increase:

As the title states it is a pretty simple but quite useful implementation for people who want to keep track of when is the next time they can ask for an increase in their CC limit with a date indicated for example if I were to apply today on Oct. 15th then the next time I could apply is Jan. 13th. An indicator would be very useful for people like me who forgot when they applied for an increase and don’t wanna go scrolling through their emails to find the date.

Time frame recommandation for CC limit Increase:

Another great addition to (maybe) insight on Neo, giving a better idea of when it would be appropriate to request a CC limit increase. Especially for people who got a low CC limit and want to be able to increase ASAP. Took me some time to understand this on my own so if Neo were to implement this it would definitely help. I know there are many factors but lots of CC require at its base a 4 - 6 months credit utilization history to be more likely to accept a CC increase and u would assume Neo follows a same protocol (correct me if I’m wrong).

Anyway this is all I have for today, just wanted to hop on this train and potentially make a difference for future users. I have plenty of friends who are considering Neo and that would definitely ease their mind. New to chat so hopefully I’m not shut down like on Reddit the moment I mention Neo for positive things :skull:

Hi @Geouky, welcome to the community! We’re so glad to have you with us!

Thanks a ton for sharing your insights into requesting a credit limit increase and explaining the timeline to help others understand it as well, that’s great info to have out for everyone.

I’m curious on your thoughts about showing when it would be a good idea to request an increase though? Like a live monitor of the likelihood it would be approved? Let me know some more info about that idea as it seems like it could definitely be a cool addition. Oh, and you’re right about the timeline, generally our system would needs 6-8 months of history before a request can be approved.

Thank you for reaching out !!!

And yes a Live monitor would be great but knowing the technical implications behind it maybe a bit more complex to make but it would be an AMAZING addition.

I feel like for the meantime a general oh you can apply next at… (insert date here) with a reminder to have at least 6-8 months of credit history before applying would be pretty neat for sure.
