With a secured account, will it ever become unsecured after so many months of trust?
Hey @Foxy Secured grad is mostly done through our credit risk teams. Credit risk determines eligible users and its highly based on each individual case, I wish I could say there was a clear timeline that applicable for everyone who has a secured card but its not as simple as that. Each user’s credit file is so different, this is why its not an automatic process.

I acknowledge this is not exactly what Foxy was asking about but I thought you should know that today I was told it’s systematic, at least in terms of the email notification regarding one’s “eligibility” to graduate and convert to an unsecured card. I have my doubts about that as I did not get such an email, although perhaps I’m not “eligible.” Obviously the application process, itself, is manual but Neo reps may be giving incorrect information around this topic if they are not understanding the question/process.
Note: the “eligible to graduate” vs “eligible for the World Elite” card (ie: based on ind/household income) verbiage is confusing and might be a factor here for everyone.
I can only assume I’m not “eligible” to graduate but it is proving to be impossible to find out why.
