A few months ago, I received an interesting email from NEO offering to reduce my credit card interest rate by 50% for 6 months, as long as I continued making at least the minimum payment.
I found this offer genuinely surprising because I had never received anything similar from another bank or credit card provider before.
I wanted to bring this up to see whether other NEO members have received similar offers or any other unusual benefits that are not typically available with standard credit cards.
Have you received any interesting promotions, personalized offers, or unique features from NEO? I would be interested to learn what else NEO may offer its members.
I’ve had Neo MC & MC world Elite cards for many years. I’ve never seen such an offer.
Our golden rule is NEVER pay credit card interest
ALWAYS pay balance in full.
With credit card interest rates ranging from 19% to over 25% planning on making the minimum payment only is the absolute worst thing a person can do.
If you cannot make the full balance payment every month, I’d say cut up your credit card (Dad Advice)
No never received that, but wouldn’t interest me as it would be the worst decision to decide to take on interest debt from a credit card unless you really had to.
For what it’s worth, this is one my favorite things Neo does. It’s targeted to folks who are paying interest and at risk of starting to snowball, trying to help them out before it becomes a millstone. I don’t know exactly how the team targets the offers though.
