Everyday purchase for me, I’m currently using mostly my TD cashback card. Looks like they reduced it to 1%. Any recommendations are welcomed.

I guess everyone is using it for daily purchases, since you’d get more cashback on a credit card than debit usually. That’s the only reason I even have the credit card in addition to simply building the credit score

Never carry a balance, use it for rewards and cashflow management.

@vitalii agreed, seems to be a standard practice - lots of people still fear the utilization on credit cards though, there is still lots of misconception out there on how credit works.

@Sterls-zee1 thanks for the share - first step is awareness, so you are already on the right path!

We prettty much use the credit cards for everything but pay the babysitter! Costco CIBC was my main one, but realized my Neo card gets twice as much cash back with groceries, so using that more lately!

I use my credit cards pretty much everywhere I’m allowed. I even paid for my car by splitting the bill between a couple credit cards. Too bad I didn’t have my Neo WE MasterCard back then or I could have gotten double the cashback.
