🚀 By Popular Demand: Additional Cards Are Now Live!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Additional Cards feature is now available on all Neo Credit cards, including the Neo Mastercard, Neo World Mastercard, and Neo World Elite Mastercard!

You can now share your credit account with one trusted person, whether it’s a partner, family member, or close friend. By adding an additional cardholder, it’s easier than ever to manage spending together while continuing to earn rewards on purchases. :credit_card::sparkles:

For the Additional Cardholder (after the invite is sent):

  1. Look out for an email with next steps

  2. Review the terms

  3. Complete a short application

  4. Once approved, you’ll be added to the account and ready to start spending

Note: Additional Cardholders can make purchases but don’t have ownership of the account.

:credit_card: Annual Fees for Additional Cards:

  • Neo Mastercard, Neo World Mastercard: $10/year

  • Neo World Elite Mastercard: $49/year

Super useful so far!

It would be nice if Neo had the ability to roll the annual fee into their premium perk, as $50 / year (world elite) is a bit steep when there are other options…

I have premium, plus world elite so already paying $245 / year for this card, charging another $50 when we don’t get anything extra..

Other thought would be keep the fee, but double the limits… (e.g: $2,000 monthly grocery spend instead of $1,000 or $1,000 for reoccurring instead of $500)

When will you be launching actual co-applicant cards?

Hi @JustBrendo, thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback, I will definately pass this on to the team. I’m really glad to hear you’re enjoying the feature so far! I totally get what you mean, so let me clear up a few things here.

For the Neo World Elite Mastercard, the $49 fee helps cover the extension of premium benefits and protections to your additional cardholder, so they can enjoy the same elevated experience you do.

For the Neo Mastercard and Neo World Mastercard, the additional card fee covers secure card production, shipping, and support, allowing us to maintain high cashback rewards.

We know any fee is something people think carefully about, and we want to make sure it brings real value to you and anyone you share your account with!

Don’t hesitate to message me directly if you have any other feedback or questions about the feature! :hugs:

Hi @Hadia_Asif, thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community!

I was reading up on co-applicant cards here, and I wanted to clarify: are you looking to apply together with someone, where both of you would have ownership of the account? Or are you thinking more of a joint account setup, where both parties share full responsibility?

From what I understand, the key difference lies in how the onboarding process works between the two. Let me know what you’re hoping for, and I’d be happy to dig into this further for you!

I think the fees for extra cardholders are a Mastercard / visa thing. All the cards have the same fees for multi cards. Only thing I see is some finnancial institutions waves the fees.

Is this still a thing? Or do I need to have an active joint everyday account before being able to send an invite?

Hey @bt95, great questions, happy to clarify! :hugs:

Additional cards are definitely still available. You can add another cardholder to any of our Neo credit cards, including the Neo Mastercard, Neo World, and Neo World Elite.

For the second part: joint accounts are currently only offered for our Neo Cash accounts. They aren’t available for Everyday Accounts at this time. If you’d like to set one up, all you need is a Neo Cash account, you can start the invite process anytime.

Just to note: Joint accounts and additional cardholders are two separate features. We do have plans to expand both across more products in the future, but this is what’s available right now.

I wasn’t completely sure what you meant in the second part of your question, but I hope this helps clear things up! If not, feel free to ask me anytime, I’m happy to help.
