We’ve officially launched the United® MileagePlus® Neo World Elite® Mastercard with United Airlines, and it’s now available to all Canadians.
This card is designed to help you turn everyday spending into your next adventure. You’ll earn MileagePlus miles on groceries, dining, and flights—with elevated rates on United and Star Alliance purchases. Plus, we’ve packed in premium perks like a free first checked bag, priority boarding, DragonPass lounge access, and a NEXUS credit. At an $89 annual fee, it’s the lowest-priced premium travel card in the country.
New cardholders can earn up to 25,000 bonus miles in their first year and save at least 10% on United award flights. Just a heads-up: miles post in a monthly batch, so you’ll see them hit your account once a month.
The Neo World Elite is an everyday cashback card, for groceries, gas and recurring bills. The United World Elite is a points-based travel card. As far as credit cards go, they’re complete opposites.
this looks like a great card for turning everyday spending into real travel opportunities. The perks like the free checked bag, lounge access, and bonus miles are honestly really strong for an $89 fee.
Honestly, I feel like offering the first year with no annual fee could make it even more attractive and help bring in a lot more people right from the start. Everything else about it looks really strong though great launch overall!
@Sahnil Glad you’re loving the perks! we hear you on the fee, but we really tried to pack in as much value into that $89 to keep it the best deal out there.
After credit cards earning Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines, IHG and Best Western miles/points were pulled from the Canada market over the years, I applaud Neo for its partnerships with Cathay Pacific, and now with United Airlines.
I’m excited to use the UA card for (most of) its perks. Especially the 10% award discount is appealing to me, as UA has recently shown to strongly favour those members who have a UA-affiliated credit card.
What could be improved on is the low 0.75 mile earned per dollar spent on anything other than life’s necessities, being food and travel
I am looking forward to Neo’s future partnerships with airlines, hotel chains and other (travel) providers
Welcome to the community! @J_B So glad to have you posting for the first time.
It’s awesome that the 10% award discount is a win for you, we’re definitely proud to bring those perks back to Canada. I also appreciate the honest feedback on the 0.75 earn rate, I’ll definitely make sure to pass that along to our product team as we look at ways to keep improving. We’re just getting started with these partnerships, so stay tuned for what’s coming next.
