The current referral system works through link sharing and doesn’t have an option to generate a QR code that others can scan with their camera.
Link sharing can work in many cases but there is no way to see if someone opened that link. What will happen in reality is that people will say they’ll do it and never do it.
Adding a QR code button that would turn the referral link into a QR code would make it easier to nudge friends to sign up on the spot without the hassle of searching in contacts or adding people to contacts that is associated with sending links.
Making QR codes easier to generate and make them available for download can also incentivize people to print them and place them somewhere they can be scanned, which can help Neo gain more customers and lower CAC (time limit can apply to make referral code valid of a limited period of time, similar what you can do in Slack invites).
