New Month, New Energy: Same Goals or a Fresh Plan?

January can feel tough after all that post-holiday spending :money_with_wings::grimacing:

For February, try picking just one simple money goal:
• Save a small amount (anything counts)
• Track your spending for one week
• Cut one unnecessary expense
• Pay down a bit of debt
• Set one clear financial goal for the month

Small steps still move you forward :flexed_biceps:

Are you keeping your January goals or switching things up?

I am really excited after all that I have learned the last couple week! I think this month, is a fresh start to get a full month of positive progress under my belt. I was to pay down some debt, but I also want to know exactly where my paycheque goes. I want to track my spending for a full two week!

With the generous Cashback I can save like 1000 a year.

I’ve seen someone got as much as 15000.00 cash back lol. That’s a real MVP.

But yeah I put the cash back I get to the Neo cash account

My goal this month is to invest $1,600 and save $2,000.

I have lots of events this month, so let’s see how it goes!

@jsmaster excited to see how much you’ll earn this month. Maybe we should launch a cashback competition ? @Yeni-Neo what do you think?

@tristianomalley1 Love that you were able to learn a thing or two. Feel free to report back at the end of the month on how things are going!

I’ll be looking into getting rid of some 5.6% interest rate debt by moving some money from a 4.29% interest rate card. Need to run some numbers though to see if it makes sense.

Sounds like a great Idea!

My February goal is keeping an eye on my food and restaurant budget. Not trying to be perfect, just more aware of where my money is going because looks like I eat too much :joy:

I am just going to be starting where I stopped in January, nothing new. I’ve learnt that showing up on most days is success.

Time for a fresh start. I’m looking for a way to manage my spending that doesn’t feel like a chore. I tend to lose momentum quickly, so I need a method that is forgiving and easy to maintain when ‘adulting’ feels overwhelming.
