- An easy way to see the total would be very helpful. Posting exchange rate alone does not do this, especially in the U.S. where the vast majority of prices posted do not include sales tax, which is different in every state. To know the final price, users would have to look up the sales tax because they don’t know it, calculate the price in USD that included the sales tax, look up the exchange rate, and multiply the price with the sales tax by the exchange rate. This is way too much work just to know the price. I would want something much easier, like pointing the phone at things and seeing the final price in CAD after conversion that uses the actual exchange rate and autocalculates the tax.
