As a way of encouraging ongoing saving. It would be nice to see our earned interest for the month, displayed somewhere on the account activity screen of the Neo app. Not meant to change the month end payout. Just intended to keep watching earned interest increase. This may also encourage people to select a different account type to watch the effects of their changes.

Yes, it is summarized monthly. Seeing a running total is what I think many people would find valuable. Myself included.
Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly so it should not be too difficult to just show the running total from the last payment until last night.
And while I don’t think Neo needs to blindly follow it’s competitors, Wealthsimple does show interest earned so far this month in their chequing accounts.
