The Easter weekend just wrapped up: brunches, treats, and maybe a few impulse buys. It’s the perfect time to pause and see how your money actually moved.
Take a quick look at your spending this weekend. Did any category surprise you? Were there little habits that drained your budget more than expected? Being aware of these patterns now makes it easier to plan for the rest of the month and avoid those “where did it all go?” moments.
Jot down a few takeaways or set a small goal for this week, like tracking your top three spending categories.
What’s one thing you noticed about your long-weekend spending that you want to manage better next month?
I had a lil fun updating my wardrobe this weekend…I typically don’t like shopping, but man I got some good deals! But I now I’m in that shopping mode, so I gotta watch out
So I’m gonna try the 24-48 hrs rule before I buy anything else. If I forgot about it after 24-48 hrs, than I probably don’t really need it.
Hey @Mannymayor, totally love a good deal, but that “shopping mode” is definitely a dangerous game.
The 24–48 hour rule is a total lifesaver for the budget, stay strong! What was your favorite find from the weekend?
@Yeni-Neo Favorite find: Jeans from Anthropologie! Got them on the sale rack (when i got to the till, they were mistakenly put on sale) but they honored the sale price! Win win!
What a win! @Mannymayor, I’d definitely love to check them out.
