Since we’re all dropping our predictions for the rest of the group stages, what are your thoughts on today’s massive World Cup matchups?
I’m going with Belgium. Fun fact, my brother-in-law is watching this game live in Seattle! Can’t wait to hear how it goes.
I’m cheering for Uruguay because higher oil prices directly benefit me as an Albertan who doesn’t drive and Saudi tends to drive them down with their cheap production.
Tough call on Iran because my other brother-in-law is Iranian and they’ve literally been invaded vs I lived in New Zealand and find the whole “make Tim Payne famous” dynamic hilarious. I think I’m overall cheering for New Zealand.
