I listened to it in the hotel room and it was interesting. Pretty short though, probably the shortest podcast I’ve ever listened to. Also, botox isn’t really my thing, although sometimes it’s interesting just to learn about something outside my standard interests.
Just watched the first episode. It was fine, but the whole time, I’m wondering who are these people? The hosts clearly have a background, I just wish they took a few minutes off the top to share more of that early on so we can better identify with the hosts and follow along. Obviously, if I keep watching or listening to new episodes, I’ll eventually get familiar with them, but if all the episodes are similar to this one, then I expect it will take several dozen episodes for me to get to know who is who, what do they do and why do I want to hear what they have to say about these topics.
On the other hand, I get that this might be more of a pilot episode chosen for it’s broad appeal instead of merely being the introduction to a new and hopefully long series of podcasts.
I don’t mind the short format, I listen to plenty of shows that are normally in the 7-11 minute range. The difference is that most of those are spinoffs of longer shows and so they can give interview guests sufficient time required to really get their point across in the longer format episodes, and then give a teaser in the short format show to entice people to listen to both.
