I also see the option as I scroll in the app to open a chequing account. If I click - will it create a separate account with new banking info?
When talking about the 1 click option to come - does that refer to a future plan to swap (for people in my scenario) without losing my current banking info?

Also, you are right about those. The EQ card is the only one that’s fully flexible cashback and it’s pretty good, all things considered. No FX or ATB fees is fantastic for a prepaid card.
Great question. Currently yes — if you want to set up joint you will need to open a new Neo Chequing account which will have new account numbers.
The upcoming 1-click option will essentially allow you to upgrade your existing account without having to remapping any of your PADs.
So you can make the call for yourself. If you want it now, open and new account and move the PADs. If you want to wait for 1-click, I’m optimistic that will happen before the end of the month, but I don’t have a definite date yet.
