CBC NEWS just published an article about the latest Bank of Canada survey, and it’s got some interesting and relatable findings.
The survey shows that many Canadians are worried about missing debt payments, concerned about job security, and planning to spend less because of high prices and economic uncertainty.
So I’m curious; How are YOU feeling about your financial situation right now?

For me, it’s definitely the high prices! Everything seems to be going up these days! Even my box of goat meat has turned into a “luxury item” , like I’m saving up for a tiny steak dinner rather than dinner for the week!
I havve been trying to be more mindful of what I spend and set a budget so I don’t feel like I need a second job just to afford groceries. Still, it’s wild how something as simple as meat can suddenly feel like a big splurge. Trust me, it’s like choosing between meat and rent every week
@Sterls-zee1 Same for me, I’m definitely more mindful of my spending these days, I don’t treat myself as much as before and something I have to decline invites from friends just to get by….
We’re lucky enough to be doing fine, but the cost of utilities makes me crazy. Over half the bill is fees! It makes trying to save electricity feel futile.
It’s almost impossible to thrive, the more taxes i pay the more raises and bonuses these public servants get and it doesnt translate to improved community living.
