# Tap not working

Sorry to hear this, the tap issue was fixed. You just need to make a purchase by inserting your card into a terminal, and the card will receive the update. Tap should work normally from then on. @newman

@newman, just did some troubleshooting on your card, are you able to try again? if it doesnt work again then you’d need to order a replacement within the app.

I have and use a virtual card. Do I need a physical card to resolve my contactless issues? especially at 7-Eleven.

Looks more like an issue with their network, so the physical card may not resolve it. @The_Mai_Shayi
