I convinced my wife to upgrade her card to a World Elite to get some travel benefits. She was told that she would get Neo grow at no costs and did in fact save a screen shot saying this from NEO help. But as soon as she upgraded her card and signed up for NEO Grow she was charged the monthly fee. After waiting for over an hour to talk to a live person she was told too bad that is extra. Very disappointed, she is still waiting for a promised call from a manager to straightened the situation out. Any one have any suggestions. Gary ---

**Build is for free with the World Elite card, while Grow is a separate $14.99/month subscription (for now).** So you get Build at no extra cost, but you’d pay extra if you want Grow. ---

Any one have any suggestions. Hey @Lukasg, sorry to hear about the hassle here! Just to clarify, the World Elite card and Grow membership are separate. The World Elite tier comes with the higher cashback rates and travel perks, while Grow membership is an optional monthly add-on with its own subscription fee. That said, if she was told otherwise by a rep or saw misleading info during the upgrade, we’d definitely want to look into it. Do you happen to have a ticket number from any of your interactions with Support? ---

Hi yeni - As someone facing the same issue I’m wondering why this conversation suddenly turned private? I can understand needing to collect account details in a private environment, but this is a very valid complaint and one that your support agents are currently denying or throwing back on me. It’s interesting to see you handle this so differently. Can you also contact me privately to see about getting the $15 charge refunded? ---

@Stan (Build or Grow membership) It’s usually an optional monthly subscription that unlocks boosted cashback, perks and rewards. The main exception is with a Secured credit card, where the Build membership is mandatory to power the credit building reporting features and help build your credit history. For other standard accounts, it’s completely optional and can be managed directly in the account
