Just hoping for a bit more clarity. I see my current account listed as an everday spending account. I went through the account number changes in the last year as well. I also see the option as I scroll in the app to open a chequing account. If I click - will it create a separate account with new banking info? When talking about the 1 click option to come - does that refer to a future plan to swap (for people in my scenario) without losing my current banking info? ---

Accounts for kids are in the works, don’t worry. We wanted to launch as fast as possible and the “two equal adults” version of the feature is the simplest viable version of it. Also, you are right about those. The EQ card is the only one that’s fully flexible cashback and it’s pretty good, all things considered. No FX or ATB fees is fantastic for a prepaid card. ---

Great question. Currently yes — if you want to set up joint you will need to open a **new** Neo Chequing account which will have **new** account numbers. The upcoming 1-click option will essentially allow you to **upgrade** your existing account without having to remapping any of your PADs. So you can make the call for yourself. If you want it now, open and new account and move the PADs. If you want to wait for 1-click, I’m optimistic that will happen before the end of the month, but I don’t have a definite date yet. ---

They are several that provide rewards, yes, but Neo Money card offers the most rewards on average compared to the others. ---

You can switch any Neo Chequing accounting into a joint account at any time. Or are you asking for an additional feature on the joint account? ---

You mention “The upcoming 1-click option will essentially allow you to **upgrade** your existing account without having to remapping any of your PADs.” I have been waiting for this change as the account changes late last year was rather frustrating to deal with for some pad’s. ---

Still coming, as far as I know. The team hasn’t given me a firm date, which doesn’t mean much. A bunch of features (Advance, progress platform, cheque deposits) are really close to launch and those are what we’re talking about every day right now. ---

@GrantLahring_Neo I recently tried the one click migration from everyday to chequings account and am set up which is awesome - it was generally pretty smooth and simple. One of my main reasons for switching is to make this a chequings a joint account with my wife. I have looked for what seems like all the normal ways to add a person/owner on the account but dont see the option to do so available. Is there a limitation with this specific instance since it was a personal everday account upgraded to a personal chequing account or something like that? Or am I just missing it. Everywhere i read says adding an owner is just in the settings page of the chequings acocunt. ---

Oh yeah, it should be possible, I can’t see that causing problems. I am pretty sure the option is within the Chequing account → Gear menu. I already have a joint chequing and a joint savings with my wife so it’s not super simple for me to pull up a screencap. Anyone in the community able to do it? ---

I converted my everyday to checking a few days ago. But the option to add a coowner is not appearing under manage card for the checking (it does appear on my savings) ---

Ok, I figured it out. Sorry it took a bit. The joint accounts feature is temporarily turned off for the account since we have Advance turned on and the joint + Advance configuration is still in development. I don’t know exactly when that’ll be ready, I’m sorry ☹ ---

I think it’s the same thing @Mattbrennan is dealing with. The joint accounts feature is temporarily turned off for the account since we have Advance turned on and the joint + Advance configuration is still in development.
