Hey everyone,

As part of the recent updates to Neo accounts, we’re also upgrading our Bill Pay system — this will go live on November 20, 2025.

**What’s changing**

We’re moving to a new system that supports over 10,000 payees (yep — including American Express, which many people have been asking for ).

With that, a few things to note:

Any payments set up to those unavailable payees won’t be processed automatically after November 20.

You’ll want to check your Bill Pay list in the app and arrange another payment method for any affected payees.

> _ **It is extremely unlikely that a payee will be unavailable, they are almost definitely just listed under a different name.** _

**Why this change**

This is part of our larger upgrade to improve how Neo handles payments and connections between different partner banks.

The new Bill Pay system:

- Gives us access to more payees nationwide,

- Improves payment speed and reliability, and

- Makes it easier for us to add new payees and features faster in the future.

We know updates like this take a bit of work on your end, but it’s a key step toward a smoother and more flexible Bill Pay experience for everyone.
